See-Shell, Fall 2023

This piece is for introverts everywhere who want to participate in extroverted activity. As an introvert who loves participating in community activities, I find comfort in this object. This piece provides a place to take a pause, to hide, and observe. The shell provides comfort for those who get exhausted or anxious trying to keep conversation and blend in with the crowd. In fact, you may blend in with the wall and perhaps surprise passersby. Maybe this will incite a new conversation for yourself. “What are you doing in there?” “How is the shell?” “May I try?” Then you are set free to continue your socialization and share the experience you enjoyed from within observing the crowd wave by.
